Texas, Arizona, Georgia, Florida and the Carolinas are currently being prioritized for growth over the next two years.

This child development concept focuses on improving physical strength and coordination for children aged six to 18. The brand already has close to 400 franchise agreements sold throughout all of the U.S. Preferred sites include warehouse spaces and units in power centers, grocery-anchored centers and lifestyle centers within family friendly neighborhoods.

Small Door Veterinary

12-Month Anticipated Openings: 6-7

Small Door Veterinary raised $40M in Series B funding in early 2023, allowing the brand to expand into Virginia, Maryland and Illinois, and to continue opening new units in Boston, Washington, D.C., and throughout New York. Preferred sites are within traditional shopping centers or downtown retail street-front spaces.

Girl Scout DreamLab

This concept opened its first units this year and aims to be a convenient meeting place for Girl Scout events, such as badge earning activities. Each site expects to have meeting rooms, a retail shop, a performance stage, a STEM lab, a bouldering wall, a podcast video booth, a mock campfire area and an administrative section. Lifestyle centers and grocery-anchored center units are preferred.

Barcelona Wine Bar

Barcelona Wine Bar is known for its extensive award-winning Spanish and South American wines, as well as its tapas menu items. The restaurant is seeking spaces in the East, Midwest and South, at urban retail street-front sites, ideally near colleges. Sites off Main and Main in repurposed former industrial or historical buildings will also be considered.

Zimmermann

12-Month Anticipated Openings: 1-5

This Sydney, Australia-based women’s luxury clothing and swimsuit/resort wear retailer had the U.S. private equity firm Advent International acquire a majority stake in the brand earlier this year. Shortly after, two new stores opened in late 2023: in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Orlando, Fla. Continued U.S. growth is expected to occur, in addition to ramped up overseas expansion. Zimmermann prefers spaces in Class A regional shopping centers, lifestyle centers and retail street-front sites.
