After this lease was negotiated and based upon the onset of the pandemic, America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses was forced to delay its planning and permitting process, which delayed its possession of the site by approximately six months. The opening date is now set for February 2021. The space, formerly occupied by Citibank, included a drive thru, so the landlord needed to determine if converting it to accommodate a non-drive thru tenant would be economically feasible. In this case, based upon the caliber of the optical retailer tenant, the landlord decided to spend approximately $100K in order to remove the bank vault, as well as the drive-thru window and canopy that Citibank had installed.

In addition, there is a Home Depot located directly across the street.
