Watch for Wolfnights to add new units in New York, New Jersey and the East Coast over the next two years. Downtown street-front, lifestyle and entertainment center sites are sought after.
Voltaire Cycles

Voltaire Cycles focuses exclusively on personal electronic vehicles powered by lithium-ion batteries. There has been a recent surge in the need for electronic vehicles and the company hopes to take advantage of that by growing its brand with new locations planned in Denver and Bend, Ore., this year. Sites are also under review in Atlanta, Miami, Raleigh, N.C., Lincoln, Neb., Dallas and Lubbock, Texas. Shopping center and lifestyle center pads are desired.
STRIDE

This high-end concept gym is all about relaxation with its human-powered treadmills, utilizing soft lighting for its 45-minute workouts. The franchise currently only has three locations in Southern California but the brand is expanding with six units expected in California, five in Illinois and two in Texas. Additional growth is planned in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Indiana, Arizona and Florida. The chain prefers locations in downtown street-front shopping districts and upscale inline strip malls with heavy foot traffic.
SpeeDee Oil Change

Colorado-based SpeeDee will add to its 150 existing units with plans to open four units this year, as well as add eight to 10 new units during each of the next two years in California, Texas, the Mid-Atlantic and New England states. Full Speed Automotive owns and manages both the SpeeDee Oil Change and the Grease Monkey brands, and in early 2020 took ownership of the American LubeFast brand with 50 locations throughout the Southeast.
Rockbox Fitness

RockBox Fitness aims for a “fight club in a nightclub” atmosphere with its kickboxing, boxing and weight training workouts. The chain looks for inline strip-center space in outer urban, college-friendly communities experiencing major retail growth. The brand wants to add 10 to 12 new units in the Midwest and the South over the next three years and is eyeing potential sites in Columbus, Ohio, Rochester, Minn., and Tyler, Texas. It is also seeking space in Alabama, especially near Montgomery, Mobile and Birmingham. Sites in Georgia, near Decatur, will also be targeted. The chain currently has 17 units in six states in the Southeast and West.
