The eight-unit chicken chain is actively recruiting new franchisees with aggressive plans to reach 100 locations nationwide by 2025. Six new restaurants will come to Dallas/Fort Worth by spring of 2022 and also look for units coming to Austin and Corpus Christi, Texas, over the next year. In addition to the Lone Star State, the chain plans to add its first units in Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico and Florida. Freestanding pad sites are targeted. The menu features a twist on classic fried chicken fare, including a chicken sandwich served on Texas toast, a fried chicken club sandwich and chicken fingers served with a variety of sauces.

The quick-service dessert chain boasts aggressive expansion plans, bringing units to 10 states over the next three months through franchised deals. Shops are in the works for Kentucky, Georgia, Indiana, Tennessee, Florida, Michigan, Texas, Louisiana, North Carolina and California. Three locations are planned for the greater Louisville, Ky., area over the next year, with the first set to open this month. A unit is also in the works for the UTC Chattanooga college campus in Tennessee. Downtown, street-front, shopping center and regional mall sites are targeted. The dessert shop is known for its 12 kinds of cobblers, three types of cinnamon rolls and four types of banana pudding.

The salon franchise plans rapid expansion and recently signed a franchise deal for five locations in the Kansas City region. This summer, parent company Suite Management Franchising was acquired by Propelled Brands, which plans to accelerate growth nationwide. Units are also in the works for California, New Jersey, New York, Michigan, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Colorado, Florida, Pennsylvania, Dublin, Ohio, Lafayette, La., Chandler, Ariz., Florence, Ky., Omaha, Neb., Dallas and St. Louis. Shopping center, regional mall and grocery-anchored sites are desired. The franchise focuses on providing stylists and beauticians a personal space to build their business.

The healthcare company, which provides outpatient physical, occupational, speech therapy and ABA clinics through multiple brands, plans to expand its footprint throughout the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast. Growth is fueled by backing from middle-market private equity firm Waud Capital Partners. New units are in the works in Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Virginia Beach, Va. New locations also just opened in Decatur, Ill., and Belleville, Mich., last month. Shopping center sites are targeted.

The veterinary clinic plans up to 10 new locations per year over the next three years. The New York City-based company will branch out of its home base with units in other urban Northeast cities such as Chicago, Boston and Washington, D.C. N.Y.C. suburbs such as Long Island could also see new clinics. Downtown and street-front sites are targeted. The chain provides urgent and primary care for pets with a variety of services and does not require a membership to book appointments.
