The fast-casual chain plans rapid expansion with over 100 units in various stages of development. New locations are coming to Durham, N.C., and Birmingham, Ala. A unit will also open in Minnetonka, Minn., — the first in the state — with four additional locations planned throughout the Twin Cities metro. The chain also sets its sites on Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Seattle, Houston and Atlanta for future development. Downtown, street-front, shopping center, lifestyle center and regional mall sites are targeted. The chain offers fruit and veggie bowls, as well as smoothies.

The Korean-based fast-casual chicken chain will expand in the U.S. with an inline restaurant set to open in City of Industry, Calif., in a former Subway before the end of the year. This will be the third unit in Southern California following a Long Beach location that opened earlier this month and a Gardena store that opened last summer. The chain has over 1,300 locations throughout Asia and the owners of Waba Grill obtained the rights to expand it in the states. Downtown, street-front and shopping center sites are targeted.

The Korean fried chicken chain will add units in Buffalo, N.Y., Richmond, Va., Rolling Meadows, Ill., Malden, Mass., Montgomery, Ala., Aurora, Colo., Houston, Austin, Fort Worth and Newark, Del. Three restaurants are also in the works in New Jersey, as well as two in Maryland. Shopping center and non-traditional units are sought after. The company has more than 3,500 locations in 57 countries.
