The London-based chain that creates interactive gaming centers for malls plans rapid expansion in the U.S. and U.K. with 100 new units in the works and over 1,000 locations planned by 2026. The chain just secured $11M in Series A2 funding with Brookfield Asset Management among the investors. Keep an eye out for Brookfield to add game rooms to its malls in cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston this year. Shopping center and entertainment center sites will be sought after.

The Free People spinoff plans rapid expansion targeting 25 to 35 new stores per year for the next three years. The athleisure clothing chain could add new units in Columbus, Ohio, Scottsdale, Ariz., Orlando, Fla., and areas near Nashville, Tenn., Seattle, Miami and Atlanta. Secondary markets, especially those near college towns, will also be targeted. Downtown, street-front, regional mall and non-traditional sites will be desired.

The full-service brew pub and restaurant plans rapid U.S. expansion with several restaurants in the pipeline slated to open later this year. The newest unit opened in Mesa, Ariz., last month, which is the first location in the state. The Wisconsin-based chain also entered Florida this year with a unit in Melbourne and additional locations are in the works. Downtown, street-front, freestanding pad and shopping center sites are targeted. The restaurant is known for its wide variety of gourmet burgers and a vast selection of locally sourced craft beer.

The self-storage brand recently raised $53M in Series B funding led by the venture capital firm Fifth Wall. The chain also recently partnered with Stuf looking for vacant office, retail and multifamily space. New units could be in the works for San Francisco, New York City and Salt Lake City. Neighbor seeks restaurants, bars and gyms with extra space and the chain can fit into a wide variety of sites including freestanding pad, shopping center, power center and downtown locations.
