- Bojangles disclosed its launch into Houston and Dallas Fort-Worth (DFW) with six franchised stores and 15 corporate locations last June. Less than seven months later, the brand has now signed a total of five multi-unit agreements and plans to build 30 corporate-owned stores, to bring approximately 50 new restaurants to the greater Austin, DFW, Houston and San Antonio markets in the coming years.
- Koibito Poke, the newest innovative fast casual food concept to hit the restaurant landscape, recently announced that it has signed a franchise sales agreement with True Capital Partners LLC, which has committed to sell a minimum of 300 locations in eight states over the next five years. The healthy poke concept anticipates the first 120 stores will be in place in the next 24-30 months according to True Capital Partners’ development schedule.
- Roll-Em-Up Taquitos has a newly signed deal that will bring six locations into Ventura County and Glendale, California, with the first location set to open by Q2 of 2022. The Ventura County and Glendale deal comes at a time when Roll-Em-Up Taquitos continues to expand its presence within its home state of California, with a goal of selling 500 units by end of 2022.
- With less than a year of franchising under its belt, Mici Italian, the Denver-based Italian restaurant concept, has more than 50 franchise restaurants in motion, including upcoming locations in Detroit, Phoenix and Texas.
- Salad Station currently has 26 open locations with four more that will be opening up during the first quarter of this year, and three more in the works with no opening timeline disclosed.
- Brilliant Earth has six new showrooms in the works. The company opened Portland and Seattle earlier this summer and will be expanding into Austin and Dallas, Texas. It will also open its first location in New York later this fall.
