D1 Training, Sugaring NYC and other health, beauty & fitness tenants to watch

Although D1 Training has only been expanding via franchisees for almost eight years, the athletic-training concept opened its 100th unit in January, with 100 more locations currently in development. All markets in the U.S., with the exception of Washington state and Hawaii, are being considered for growth. D1 Training seeks spaces in standalone buildings, retail street-front sites, the ground floor of mixed-use communities, as well as inline or end caps in power centers or grocery-anchored centers.

The non-toxic hair removal company seeks sites in California, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Ohio, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland and New Jersey. Preferred spaces are inline units within suburban or urban strip malls and street-front sites, ideally near a college. In addition to its hair removal procedures, Sugaring NYC also offers tanning booth services and brow/lash treatments.

[solidcore] is eyeing future growth into Western markets, including Phoenix and Portland, Ore., as well as all Southern markets. Immediate expansion will take place in Northern California, Raleigh, N.C., Long Island, N.Y., and throughout Florida. Power centers and retail street-front sites, including ground-floor units of mixed-use buildings, are sought after. [solidcore] is known for its high intensity, yet low-impact Pilates workouts.

Skin Pharm

12-Month Anticipated Openings: 4-8

Skin Pharm will be opening new units this year in Texas, North Carolina and South Carolina. With locations primarily in the South, Skin Pharm anticipates expanding into new regions thanks to an investment of $15M in 2023, led by Prelude Growth Partners. The cosmetic dermatology spa seeks spaces in mixed-use buildings and retail street-front sites, ideally with medical-oriented co-tenants.
