Legend Hot Chicken, Kai Ramen and Sip Fresh expand food locations in California

The Southern California-based chicken chain is expanding with new units coming to Chino Hills and Glendora, Calif. These new locations will bring the total unit count up to 11 restaurants in the Golden State. Freestanding pad, shopping center, mall and food court sites are targeted. The menu includes chicken wings, tenders, sandwiches and sides with your choice of hot sauce and unique flavors such as Honey Bee and Fire Soy Sauce.

Kai Ramen

The Southern California-based ramen chain adds its newest unit in the region with a location coming to Westchester. This restaurant will take over a spot that formally housed a PostalAnnex+. The chain will also open a unit in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles. The menu includes pork, chicken and vegan broth, with a variety of toppings, as well as appetizers, such as pork steam buns and sesame fried chicken, plus several vegan appetizers, salads, rice bowls and sushi rolls at select locations.

The Houston-based restaurant will add its first Arizona unit in Scottsdale set to open this fall. This will be the fifth location for the chain and the first outside of Texas. A unit also just opened in Oak Ridge North, Texas, earlier this year. Freestanding pad and shopping center sites will be targeted. The menu offers a wide range from steaks, pasta, chicken, seafood and burgers. The restaurant also serves brunch, as well as craft cocktails, wine and beer.

Sip Fresh

The California-based beverage concept plans rapid expansion after launching its franchise program focusing on the Western and Southwestern states. Units are rumored to be in the works in Arizona and California, including San Diego. The menu includes a variety of juices, smoothies, teas and other drinks such as Strawberry Milk Sip and Cucumber Mint Lime Sip. Regional mall sites will be targeted.
